Robert (Bob) Arnold Northcutt

A celebration of life service for Robert (Bob) Arnold Northcutt, 84, of Crossville, will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, at 10 a.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend Warren Burns officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 1, from 5-8 p.m.
Bob was born August 13, 1934, in McIntosh, OK, to Clyde and Violet Northcutt. He was a loving, gentle and supportive father and brother. He was a member of Trinity Tabernacle in Crossville greater than 30 years with a heart of service. He was very creative and often made his own solutions, such as shooting a rope across a dead tree limb with a crossbow to bring it down. Working at great heights appealed to him. Although he retired as an industrial painter, he never gave up on his passion for working at great heights.
He is survived by his children, Roberta O'Neal and Elmer Sherrill, Robert Northcutt, Robin and Greg Delong, and Reba and Raymond Ball, all of whom live in Crossville; stepchildren, Lauren and Brad Houslet of Bend, OR, and Joan and Dan Nelson of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Scott Wagner of Crossville, Chris and Amy O'Neal of Salt Lake City, UT, Christopher and Agnes Northcutt of Anchorage, AK, Holly Northcutt and Dylan Northcutt of Winchester, TN, Colby Smith of Seattle, WA, Alex Houslet and Gabby Houslet of Bend, OR; sisters, Dorothy Richards of Crossville, Cornelia and Richard Ellis of Hagerstown, IN, and Sammy Marie Groves of Lebanon, MO; and a host nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Violet Northcutt; first wife and mother of his children, Stella Lois Northcutt; second wife, Joyce McDonald Northcutt; great-grandson, Austion O'Neal; and sister, Nancy Lee.
Bob was given two years to live in August 2018. Jesus had mercy on him, took him home and gave him peace.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
