Richard D. Brady IV (Richie), 45, of Johnson City, passed away Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Crossville, he is the son of Richard D. Brady III and Beverly (Purser) Wheeler. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dick and Glendith Brady, and maternal grandparents, Ivan and Barbara Purser.
Richie was an outstanding chef, amazing graphic artist and an avid University of Tennessee football fan. He was a loving father and was cherished by his family. Richie will be remembered most by his sense of humor and his ability to make friends everywhere he went; he never had an enemy.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish Richie's memory include his wife, Chrysten; children, Ethan Brady, Madelyne and Colten Evans-Swanner, and John Denner; siblings, Christa Holtz (David) and Ryan Brady; step-mother, Jan Brady; step-father, Steve Wheeler; uncles, Rip Purser (Teri), Doug Brady, and Brian Brady; aunt, Diana Purser-Dunaway (Tim); a niece and nephew; several cousins; and his dog, Corbin.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all family and friends who have come together to celebrate his life.
A celebration of Richie's life will be held Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at the Thunderbird in Lake Tansi at 2 p.m. Central.
