Pauline Loretta Tabor, 84, of Crossville, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville.
She was born March 4, 1932, in Morgantown, WV, daughter of the late Grif McGilton and Mary Nolan McGilton. Pauline was saved at age 20, in 1952, and she was baptized at Lake Aquilla, OH, by Pastor Elder Boytar. She was a bookkeeper at several local Crossville businesses.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel Gordon Tabor, Crossville; daughters, Sherry Barker, Crossville, Shirley Brown (Bob), Thompsons Station, TN, and Martha Wright (Thomas), Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Chad, Derrick, Jordan and Hannah; and great-grandchildren, Lena and Jeice; brother, Wayne McGilton, Crossville; sister, Mary Warner, of Connecticut; and Half-Sister, Mary Atkins, of Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her first husband, James Polson; infant son, James Edward Polson; and Half-Sister, Rose McGilton.
Funeral services were held at Fredonia Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at noon with Bro. Joe Young officiating. Interment in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers were Bob Brown, Thomas Wright, Jordan Barker, Chad Pugh, Derrick Pugh, Wayne McGilton, Hannah Barker, Lena Pugh, Aden Mathis and C.J. Mathis.
