Patrick Lee Studer
Patrick was born Sept. 16, 1941, in Perry County, Ohio. He was the son of the late Charles Francis Studer and Sarah Elizabeth (Sweeney) Studer.
Patrick was a United States Navy veteran, having served eight years. He worked many years in the heating and air conditioning business. He was a member of the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing music, spending time with family, especially his grandkids and two very special little ones, Neyland Ireland and Addison Tollett. Ask any of the grandkids and they would say that his most famous saying would be, "Shut the front door." Patrick was a loving husband, "gramps" and "grandpa" to nine wonderful grandkids, father, and friend to many.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Katie (Wyatt) Studer of Crossville; children, Patrick Lee Studer II of Dallas, TX, Coy Studer of Fort Worth, TX, Cari Studer of Akron, OH, Jamie Wyatt of Pikeville and Michael Tabor (Donna) of Crossville; grandchildren, Josh Troxell, Carina Studer-Dyer, Albert (Lil Guy) Studer-Dyer, Nathaniel Wyatt, Cassidy Wyatt, Carter Wyatt, Christian Tabor, Jacob Tabor and Blake Tabor; sister Marilyn Grissom (Don) of Canal Fulton, OH; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Patrick is preceded in death by brother, Joseph Studer; and sisters, Wanda (Sister Rose) Studer, Regina Studer, Anne Shostek, Doris Studer and Marcella Long.
A brief service was held after visitation Sunday, Feb. 10, at Bilbrey Funeral Home, officiated by Brother Al Watkins. Funeral services were held at St. Alphonsus Catholic on Monday, Feb. 11, with Rev. Jim Harvey officiating. Interment in Woody Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Michael Tabor, Bobby Wyatt, Josh Ireland, Jamie Wyatt, Shag Wyatt and William Wyatt. Honorary pallbearers were Nathaniel Wyatt and Christian Tabor.
