Patricia Ann Prchlik (née Hallihan) passed away peacefully on Aug. 7, 2017, at Good Samaritan in Fairfield Glade, TN. Mrs. Prchlik was born on Jan. 3, 1926, in Torrington, CT.
Pat was preceded in death by John, her husband and soulmate of 54 years. She is survived by six children, nine grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers, many nieces and nephews and many friends.
During her final days, Pat was surrounded by her children and grandson, Max. Years earlier she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Throughout her illness, she continued to bring joy to all who loved and cared for her.
Pat was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Fairfield Glade. She was a volunteer for Hospice of Cumberland County and enjoyed family and friends.
Pat was always thankful for the many opportunities and blessings she enjoyed throughout her life.
Pat's children are John Jr. of Plymouth, MI; Jean Perry (Randolph) of Ann Arbor, MI; James (Ruth) of Oakland, CA; Mary Ann (Dan Herriman) of Plymouth, MI; Julie Marie of Plymouth, MI; and Michael (Michaela) of New Fairfield, CT. Her grandchildren are James "Max" Perry; Ian and Emma Prchlik; Jane, Nancy and Margaret Herriman; and Katherine, Sara and Megan Prchlik. She is also survived by siblings Barbara Jordan of Cape Elizabeth, ME; Carol Boulanger of Southbury, CT; James Hallihan of Lenoir City, TN; and Thomas Hallihan of Ansonia, CT.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, James and Frances Hallihan of Ansonia, CT.
Mrs. Prchlik's remains will be interred at the St. Francis of Assisi columbarium. A memorial service will be held in the fall.
