Nancy Fowler Jacobson, 90, of Crossville, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Life Care Center of Crossville.
She was born Aug. 24, 1926, in Medford, MA, daughter of the late Ralph Fowler and Florence (Schroeder) Fowler.
Nancy's life in Crossville was centered around her family, her work as an elementary school teacher in Baker's Crossroads and Pleasant Hill and her dedicated volunteer work for the Cumberland Good Samaritans. She was also was a member of St. Raphael's Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Jacobson, Crossville; sons, Warren F. Jacobson of Bayville, NY, and Stephen Jacobson of Pollock Pines, CA; and grandchildren, Elena Jacobson of Los Angeles, CA, Lucas Jacobson of West Hollywood, CA, Peter Jacobson of Dallas TX, Lindsay Jacobson of Eugene, OR, and Michael Jacobson of Flagstaff, AZ.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Bud Fowler.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Raphael's Episcopal Church on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 10 a.m. with Fr. Thomas Schneider officiating.
