Myron Vaughn Swafford, 87, of Crossville, passed away Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at Cumberland House.
He was born Feb. 15, 1929, in Pikeville, TN, son of the late Eugene Swafford and Vera (Vaughn) Swafford.
After proudly serving his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War, Vaughn was well-known through his work at Plateau Chevy-Olds and his membership at First Baptist Church.
Vaughn is survived by his wife, Wilma Swafford of Crossville; daughter, Camille Morgan (Jeff) of Georgia; and grandson, Jacob Morgan of Georgia.
In addition to his parents, Vaughn was preceded in death by his sisters, Carolyn Walker and Ruth Perruso.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Tom Upshaw officiating. Interment in Crossville City Cemetery.
