Marilyn A. Rummler was born in Detroit, MI, a daughter of the late Philip and Alma (Schimmelpfennig) James. She worked as an art teacher in the Plymouth, MI, school system. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers Sorority, The American Association of University Women, The National Education Association, and The Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel. She enjoyed spending her time doing art projects, golfing, singing in the church choir and playing piano.
Surviving family include her daughter, Linda (Joseph Andorfer) Dwyer, and former spouse, Robert Dwyer. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her brother, Richard James, and former spouses, Robert Barrick and Frederick Rummler.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. on July 12, 2016, at Christ Lutheran Church, 481 Snead Dr., Crossville, TN 38558. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church Music Ministry.
Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals was in charge of the arrangements.
