Marjorie Hester (Turner) Baker, 87, passed away Jan. 18, 2018, at Signature Healthcare of Putnam County in Cookeville, TN. Her final resting place will be Oak Lawn Cemetery in Pomona.
Mrs. Baker was born March 7, 1930, in Crossville, the daughter of the late George Martin Turner and Edna Mae (Hughes) Turner.
She is survived by her daughters, Beth Ann Lee of Ozone and Cynthia Kay Butnor of Cookeville, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Ray Baker; her sons, George Cleveland Dooley and Michael Lin Dooley; and her grandson, David Brooks Dooley.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Crossville. She was a devoted housewife and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become "Grams" to her eight grandchildren.
