May 28, 2015 Margaret (Maggie) Wallace O’Brien passed away peacefully May 28, 2015. She was born Aug. 30 to Margaret and Harry Wallace in Philadelphia, PA. Maggie owned and operated Fairfield Beauty Shop and loved her work and her clients. She enjoyed her friends and would light up any room she entered with her vivacious personality. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved her girls and her grandchildren with everything that she was. She dearly loved her “neighbor” and the love of her life, Richard Hampton. They spent many wonderful and loving years together. She also leaves behind many close friends whom she loved with all of her heart. Maggie is survived by her daughters, Debora Pierce and husband, Tom, Kathleen Brockman and husband, Harry, and Margie King and husband, Brian, and grandchildren, Harry III, Johnny and Kelly Brockman and Adam and Andy King. She is also survived by the love of her life, Richard Hampton, who brought her so many years of joy and love. She is also survived by her sisters, Dolores Offenbacker and Joanie Kane, and brother, Jackie Wallace. Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Harry Wallace; infant son, James Patrick O’Brien; brothers, Harry and Billy Wallace; and her grandmother, Bertha Clegg. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cumberland County. A memorial service was held May 31 at Bilbrey Funeral Home. A celebration of her life was held June 1 at Scarlett’s Event Center. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
