Lelowene's Story

Lelowene Presley Breeding was born December 14, 1923, in Jackson County, TN, the daughter of Fred and Hallie Presley.
She departed this life on Feb. 14, 2018, at the home she shared with her late husband, Hany, for 66 years in the Homesteads. They were both members of the Homesteads Church of Christ, where she attended until poor health kept her home.
She loved to read her Bible, sew, crochet, mow her yard and cook Sunday lunch for those "special invited guests after church."
She is survived by her daughters, Darlene Driver of Watertown, TN and Judy Phillips of Crossville; sister, LaVonna Phy of Algood; brother, Gaylon Presley of Cookeville; bother-in-law, Terry Edgington of Cookeville; grandchildren, Deanna and Scott Jennings and Jim and Tracey Driver of Watertown, TN, Brandee and Jeremy Seaborn of Lebanon, TN, Roger and Renee and Jesse and Tiffany Phillips of Crossville; and many friends and wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Burial was in Crossville City Cemetery.
Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
