John "Bob"'s Story
John "Bob" Robert Hale, 92, of Crossville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at Life Care Center of Crossville.
He was born June 1, 1925, in Crossville, son of the late John Stephen Hale and Alice (Flynn) Hale. Bob worked in retail sales and will be dearly missed by his family.
He is survived by his son, John R. Hale Jr. (Martha), Crossville; daughters, Anna Isham and Kathy Hale (Carl Hedgecoth) of Crossville; granddaughters, Tammy Griswold and Donna Hyder; and great-grandchildren, Kelli Hyder, Alli Hyder and Caylin Griswold.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Ima Jean (Howard) Hale; brother, William Ernest Hale; and sister, Margaret Elizabeth Smith.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Josh Cardwell officiating. Interment in Crossville City Cemetery.
