JoAnn was a wonderful friend and fellow teacher with whom I enjoyed working with over the years. I will be thinking about her family at this time.

It is with great sadness that I read of the passing of my coworker and my son's second grade teacher, Mrs. Zimmerman. JoAnn was a joy to work with and was a superb teacher for TD. JoAnn practiced differentiated instruction before it was the buzz word in education. TD affectionately remembers her wondering with him what he would become one day. He is certain of the pride she would have knowing he is graduating from Lincoln Memorial University - Duncan School of Law this May. Rest well, JoAnn. Your work on earth is done.
