Jerry L. Turner
He was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late Nellis Turner and Goldie (Morgan) Turner.
After serving in the Marine Corps during Vietnam, Jerry worked as a driver for Chemcentral in Cincinnati, OH, for 35 years. He was a Fairfield Glade volunteer firefighter, a Mason, a Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and a Shriner. He enjoyed taking burned and crippled children to Cincinnati for their treatments. He also was a member of the Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Turner of Fairfield Glade; sons, Steven Turner of Indiana and Michael Turner of Texas; daughter, Michelle Turner of Ohio; and loving step-daughter, Lisa Trainor of Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his brother, James Turner.
Memorial services will be held at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 7, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jay Archer and Rev. Moses Han officiating.
