Jerry David Farmer


Jerry David Farmer, of Crossville, passed away on Feb. 1, 2019, at Cumberland House. He was born on Feb. 24, 1948, to Edward and Edith (Scarlett) Farmer. Jerry was a proud veteran, serving a tour in Vietnam. He worked at Kroger for 42 years providing for his family. He retired in 2006.
He leaves behind his wife, Karen, of 49 years; two daughters, Elaina Reagan and husband JP and Elesha Green and husband Jimmy; three grandsons, Jerret Reagan and wife Amelia, David Reagan and fiancée Madison Clark and Justin Green; two great-granddaughters, Zoe and Lillie Reagan; two brothers, Herman Freland Farmer and wife Beulah and Dan Farmer; one sister, Juanita Paul; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Leland "Bud" Farmer and Dean Farmer.
A Celebration of Life for Jerry will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 1-3 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Cumberland County.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
