James Anthony Vandever


James Anthony Vandever, 47, of Crossville, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Cumberland House.
He was born July 21, 1971, in Anderson, IN, son of James "Danny" Daniel Vandever and Brenda Kay (King) Vandegrift.
James worked as a laborer and was a member of Cumberland Fellowship. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Vandever; children, Audrina, Owen, James and Rosy; father, Danny Vandever (Sharon); mother, Brenda Vandegrift (Neal); sister, Tami Swearingen (Shawn); mother-in-law, Martha Hudgens (James F.); father-in-law, Gary Criswell Sr. (Carol); brother-in-law, Gary Criswell Jr. (Alisa); along with many cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom he adored.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Marie Vandever; and aunt, Sharon Cole.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, May 18, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Sam Tollett officiating. Interment in Lantana Cemetery.
