Funeral services for Glenn Zellner III, 62, of Monterey, TN, were held Sunday, March 4, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Kenny Smith and Rev. Kevin Smith officiated with interment following in the Phillips Cemetery in the Anderson Community.
Mr. Zellner was born Dec. 28, 1955, in Crossville to the late Glenn Jr. and Esther Buck Zellner. Mr. Zellner passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Mr. Zellner was a factory worker. He was active in his grandchildren's lives and loved people and helping others. Over the years, Glenn was in several gospel music groups and currently active with The Zellner Family Group. He was a member of Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of almost 43 years, Doris Anderson Zellner of Monterey; daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Johnny Cooper of Crawford, TN; sons and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Tiffany Zellner of Monterey and Glenn Zellner IV of Crossville; grandchildren, Anna Cooper, Callie Cooper, Brennan Zellner, Kaleb Zellner, Catlin Zellner, Logan Zellner, Mattie Zellner and Glenn Zellner V; brother, Tommy Zellner of Cookeville, TN; sister-in-law, Michelle Zellner of Soddy Daisy, TN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Willis and Reba Anderson of Monterey; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Glenda Melton, Freda Miller, Willie and Linda Anderson, Joe and Sylvia Anderson, Cinda and David Birdwell, Nora Smith, Ronnie Anderson and Sandra Anderson; and Numerous Nieces And Nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Zellner.
Goff Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
