Gilbert Ray Sells, 78, of Crossville, passed away at his home on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017.
He was born Oct. 18, 1938, in Crossville, son of the late Arthur Ray Sells & Ollie Marie (Hedgecoth) Sells. Gilbert worked as a construction supervisor for the Tennessee Valley Authority and was of the Baptist faith. He also proudly serviced his country in both the Navy and the Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Kathy Sells, Crossville; daughters, Angie Cantrell & Anita Kemmer, both of Crossville; granddaughters, Kayla Masiongale & Sarah Kemmer; and great-granddaughter, Callye Mae Gibson. In addition to his parents, Gilbert was preceded in death by his brother, Gordon Lee Sells.
Funeral services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Mike Kerley officiating. Interment in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
