Gerald was my cousin and he came over every week to have coffee with us on his way to the volunteer work he did at the Veteran's Memorial on Main Street in Crossville. I am thankful for vets, for they are concerned about their fellow patriots, their town, and county. May he rest in eternal peace at last. Ger will be missed by all who loved hearing his stories from the past, about his coming home days, and about the folks at home. I enjoyed each and every story and wished I had recorded them. My sincerest condolences to his children and all.
