Forest's Story

Forest Lindell Lovett, 85, of Fairfield Glade, passed away on Jan. 28, 2017, of natural causes.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Susanne (Mann); six children, Ed Lovett (Sidney, OH), Brenda Coy (Cairo, GA), Sharon Morrison (Mount Vernon, OH), Brandon Lovett (Knoxville, TN), Janet Harlamert (Celina, OH) and Glenn Lovett (San Diego, CA); two brothers, Carlus Lovett (Sevierville, TN) and Troy Lovett (Olympia, WA); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Forest was born in Stearns, KY, on Nov. 18, 1931, to William Emby Lovette and Bertha (Waters) Lovette. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Paulina Osborne and Denton Lovett, both of Sidney, OH, where his parents resided.
In 1997 Forest retired from New Idea in Coldwater, OH, and moved to Fairfield Glade. His favorite activities included spending time with friends and family, playing games, puzzles, fishing, garage sales, gospel music, helping others and traveling. He was an active member of the Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church.
Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church will hold a Celebration of Life on Feb. 2, 2017, at 11 a.m. with visitation at 10 a.m.
Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
