Ella Mae Bilbrey Ella Mae Bilbrey, 74, of Crossville, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019.
She was born March 9, 1944, in Crossville, daughter of the late Otto Casto Lowe and Nettie (Sloan) Lowe. Ella worked for Walmart as a stockperson for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by her family.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Bilbrey of Crossville; daughter, Nettie Phipps of Crossville; grandchildren, Stephanie (Juan Garcia) Bilbrey, Stephen Bilbrey, Vestal Phipps, Frank (Shelly) Phipps and Samuel Phipps; great-grandchildren, Brandon Bilbrey, Kealiey Bilbrey, Aleigha Garcia, Melanie Garcia, Clayton Bilbrey, Bently Bilbrey, Haven Stewart, Jada Stewart and Chloe Hood; brothers, Joe (Linda) Lowe of Crossville, Earl (Theresa) Lowe of Crossville, Claude Lowe of Pall Mall, Dale Lowe of Pikeville and Billy Joe Lowe of Crossville; sisters, Kathy Lowe, Brenda (Harry) Bailey and Rachel Pryor, all of Crossville; and sisters-in-law, Tammy Lowe, Lois Pryor and Ellen Bilbrey, all of Crossville. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ella is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Clayton Bilbrey; brothers, Clyde Lowe, Glenn Lowe and Melvin Lowe; brothers-in-law, Donny Bilbrey and Dayton Bilbrey; and sister-in-law, Frances Lowe.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Friday, March 1, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Hugh Goss officiating. Interment in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
