April 13, 1943—June 9, 2015 Edward "Ed" Bowman Jr., 72, of Crossville, passed away June 9, 2015, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. He was born April 13, 1943, in Cumberland County, son of the late Edward Luther Bowman Sr. and Bertha (Adams) Bowman. He was the manager/owner of Bowman's RV's and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Betty Bowman of Crossville; son, Charlie Bowman and fiancè, Donna Wooten, of Crossville; step-son, Sam Baisley of Crossville; granddaughters, Brooke Sharp and Carrie Thomason; great-grandson, Ryder James Thomason; and brothers, Luke Bowman and wife, Connie Knox Bowman, and Tony Bowman, all of Crossville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Lou Dunbar Bowman; step-mother, Cecil Barnwell Bowman; and sisters, Judy Honeycutt, Delores Cordell, Agnes Marie Bowman and Regina Bowman. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home June 15, with Bro. John Adcox officiating. Interment was in Bowman Cemetery. Pallbearers were Carl Norris, Ray Bowman, Gary Bowman, Rick Bowman, Mark Bowman, Billy Bowman, Jammie Bowman, Damien Romo and Casey Cox. Memorial donations may be made to the Ed Bowman Memorial Fund for Lake Tansi RV Park. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
