Douglas "Rif" Edward Rifner, 65, of Crossville, passed away at his home on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017.
He was born April 18, 1952, in Marion, IN, son of the late Eugene Rifner & Jane Ellen (Stinson) Rifner. Rif was the owner of Rif's Auto Detail and will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Rifner, Crossville; son, David Rifner & daughter Kendall; son, Joey Burnett, wife Sheri & children Braylon, Rylan & Kellen of Crossville; sister-in-law, Lori Ducey of Little Rock, AR; brother, Greg Rifner & wife Patty of Indiana; second mother, Elissa Crothers of Indiana; sister, Ann Newsom & husband John of Indiana; brother, Scott Rifner & wife Donna of Indiana; sister, Nikki Shipp, husband Mitch & son Blake of Indiana; and life-long friends, Bill "Stubby" Ruble & Garry "Bloody" Boles.
In addition to his parents, Rif was preceded in death by his daughter, Tara Leanne Burnett.
Visitation will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, from 1 to 3 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 3 p.m. with Joey Burnett officiating. Interment in Crossville City Cemetery.
