Donald Lee Rhodes, 77, of Crossville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Cumberland Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 11, 1940, in Lewistown, PA, son of Ed Rhodes and Mary (Fowler) Rhodes.
Donald served in the United States Army during Vietnam and then retired after 22 years of service. He was also a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Rhodes, Crossville; sons, Anthony Rhodes of Murfreesboro, TN, and Steven (Keshia) Rhodes of Springfield, TN; grandchildren, Katie Rhodes and Ty Rhodes; brothers, Harry Rhodes and Lester Rhodes of Pennsylvania; and sister Shirley Mattern of Pennsylvania.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Ed Rhodes; mother, Mary (Fowler) Rhodes; brothers Paul Rhodes, Raymond Rhodes and James Rhodes; and sisters Martha Rhodes and Ora May Rhodes.
Funeral services with full military honors were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Larry McDuffee officiating. Interment in Newton Cemetery.
