Oct. 23, 1956—Feb. 21, 2015 Donald Ray Hood, 58, of Pikeville, passed away Feb. 21, 2015, at his home. He was born Oct. 23, 1956, in Crossville, son to the late Arzie Hood and Ola (King) Hood. Mr. Hood worked as an equipment specialist in the manufacturing industry and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Hood of Pikeville; son, Jeffrey Hood of Texas; daughter, Lindsey Toney of Texas; brother, Arlie Hood of Crab Orchard; stepsons, Gary Lynn Brown and wife, Jeanie, of Pikeville, and Ronald David Brown of Pikeville; brothers, Jerry Hood and Donnie Hood, both of Crossville; and sisters, Brenda Barker of Cookeville and Shirley Oran of Crossville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as a host of friends and family. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ronnie Hood and Leon Hood; and sisters, Annie Kilgore and Bobbie Jo Hood. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home Feb. 25, with Bro. Gary Brown officiating. Interment was in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Pallbearers for Mr. Hood included Terry Goss, Anthony Hood, Robert Hayes, Dennis Reagan, Jake Hood and Joe Reagan.
