Donald Hayes, 76, of Crossville, TN, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at Cumberland House in Crossville.
He was born Aug. 26, 1939, in Norcross, GA, son of the late Calvin and Jewell (Peters) Hayes.
After proudly serving his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, Donald worked for General Motors as an assembly line crew member.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Hayes; son, Ted Hayes and Chris Hayes; and daughters, Donna Ralston, Melissa Arnold, Debra Hood and Jacklyn Hayes.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Jean Jones, Myra Bissinger and Dorothy Tanner.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Kerley officiating. A second memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 11 p.m. at LifePointe Church of the Nazarene in Georgia with the Rev. Wayne Rutherford officiating.
