Cletis Turner, 85, of Crossville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at his home in Crossville.
He was born Saturday, July 26, 1930, in Crossville, son of the late Hobart and Mary Ann (Elmore) Turner. He was a factory worker in the manufacturing field and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Cletis also proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his son, Tim Turner (Penny); daughter, Laura Randolph (Mark); and sister, Alma Jean Wilson.
He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Cletis was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Magdalene (Sherrill) Turner; brothers, Clyde Turner, Lloyd Turner and Dale Turner; and sister, Zella Wakefield.
Funeral services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Mike McCoy and Bro. Bill Johnson officiating. Interment in Crossville City Cemetery with full military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be William Kyker, Christopher Looper Jr., Roger Wakefield, Gary Wakefield, Brady Aycock and Arbon Aycock. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny McNeal and B.J. Cherryholmes.
