Betty June Graham, 73, quietly departed this life on Nov. 11, 2016, at her home in Crossville, surrounded by loving family.
Daughter of the late Archie Anderson and Helen Tate, June was born on June 23, 1943, in Kingston, TN. She married the love of her life on Feb. 11, 1966. Their marriage of 50 years was blessed with three daughters. In 2015, she retired from Cumberland Medical Center after 53 years service as a unit secretary. She was also a member of the Pomona United Methodist Church.
June enjoyed many creative passions over the years including sewing, painting ceramics and baking. She regularly spoiled family and friends with delectable baked goods and candy confections. During the holidays, June was known as "The Fudge Lady." Her compassion for others shone through the hundreds of prayer cloths she sent out with the help of her sister, Gwen. As a result of her generous spirit, June was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
June's beautiful life will forever be cherished through the lives of her husband, Samuel Byron Graham, Crossville; daughters, Shawnda Ernst (Donnie), Knoxville, TN, Misty Graham Stapleton (Ben), Morristown, TN, and Monica Patton (Joe), Crossville; grandchildren, Khirey and Rory Stapleton, Morristown, TN, and Emily and Nicholas Ernst, Knoxville, TN; sister, Gwen Lewis, Crossville; brother, Clarence Tate (Betty), Crossville; sisters-in-law, June Tate, Orlando, FL, and Mildred Tate Angel, Maryville, TN. June is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her brothers, Ted Tate, Eugene Tate and Leonard Tate.
