Arlon Lavon Redwine, 67, of Crossville, passed away April 11, 2016. He was born Nov. 11, 1948, in Rockwood, TN, son of JD and Alma Potter Redwine. He was a truck driver and a member of Crab Orchard Church of God of Prophecy. He was also a U.S. Army veteran having served during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Lennis Redwine; son, JD Redwine; daughters; Cherry Kirkley (Jimmy), Angie Mifflin (Richard) and Lavonda Brown (Brian), all of Crossville; mother, Betty Redwine of Crossville; stepchildren, Tammy Self (Tim) of Fayetteville, WV, Rick Persinger (Wendy), Benji Persinger (Linda) and Jeremy Persinger (April) all of Crossville; brothers, Roger Redwine (Sheila) and Jimmy Redwine (Diane) of Crossville; sister, Marlene Potter (Vernon); 22 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Laura Beth Self and William Preston Persinger.
Funeral services were held Thursday April 14, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home. Burial was in Haley"s Grove Cemetery. Bro. Terry Swaw officiated.
