Alvie Elmer Flowers, 64, of Crossville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at Cumberland Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 25, 1953, in Crossville, son of the late Ernest Alvie Flowers and Emmie (Looper) Flowers. After serving his country in the Air Force, Alvie worked as an Electrician. He was also a member of the Slate Springs Baptist Church. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his brothers, Michael Flowers of Crossville, Ricky Flowers of Corbin, KY, and Tony Flowers of Lancing, TN; sisters, Velma Hawn of Crossville, Patricia Field of Crossville and Rhonda Bowers of Roanoke, VA; and son, Clifford Duane Flowers of Colorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Alvie was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Williams.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Leslie Goss officiating. Interment in Slate Springs Cemetery.
